Film Music Grade 2

Natabhairavi is a composer’s delight and lot of composers have experimented with Natabhairavi and its allied ragas. This course further introduces students to the swaras G1 and N1 in the form of the raga Natabhairavi. Furthermore, concept of octaves and upper and lower octaves are explored here. Students are also taught songs in Natabhairavi and allied ragas to gain a proper understanding of raga structure and accordingly apply in film songs.

Assessment

Students are assessed on the following, for a total of 25 marks.
